One of the ongoing services that 1Up provides is mentoring opportunities to single moms, through their mentoring and moms program. Single moms experience a wide range of stressors most of which are unique to parenting children alone. By providing mentoring, 1Up gives these moms an opportunity to talk to someone who can provide a much needed respite from day to day. Because sometimes all we need is a listening ear.
