Alexandra is an inspiring single mother of seven children who is dedicated to supporting women through pregnancy, childbirth, and motherhood. At just 18 years old, she became an instant parent when she married & welcomed a 2-year-old girl into her home. Now, Alexandra homeschools her three daughters ages 13, 11, and 8 while also caring for her new baby.
Beyond mothering her own children, Alexandra founded Our Hummingbird to provide compassionate birth education, training, and support to pregnant women across four continents. Through Our Hummingbird's online childbirth classes and in-person doula services, Alexandra has empowered countless women to have positive birthing experiences.
Alexandra's latest passion project is MamaHaven—a retreat home where new mothers can find community, rest, and nurturing support. Alexandra is currently fundraising to turn her vision for MamaHaven into reality. She hopes this peaceful sanctuary will give all mamas the strength they need to juggle parenting's daily demands.
At the core of Alexandra's mission is a conscious, holistic approach to birthing. She believes that when women feel informed, cared for, and spiritually connected during pregnancy and postpartum, they can better attune to their intuition, embrace their power, and raise children consciously. Alexandra lives these values herself as she manages a bustling household and continues serving vulnerable mothers worldwide.
