Today's episode is a conversation with Megan McLaren about the pressure she put on herself as a new stepmom. Megan shares how putting high expectations on herself affected her mental health.

Megan is the mother of twin daughters as well as the stepmom of two boys.

As a mental health practitioner, Megan was not immune from placing unrealistic expectations on herself. So through her work as a coach, she helps moms learn from some of her errors.

Megan also shares her experience with postpartum depression and how seeking help lead her to take better care of herself.
